Editing

I provide a variety of services that can be tailored to suit your specific needs. Examples include:

Line Editing: correcting typos, editing grammar and syntax, offering feedback on on format, style, and tone.

Copyediting: ensuring consistency of spelling, formatting citations and other material to follow a specific style guide (MLA, Chicago, house-style guide, etc.), formatting bibliographic material, fact checking, correcting all formatting according to a specific style guide

Rates

Because editing needs vary from project to project, rates are calculated according to manuscript or file length, amount of work needed, and requested turn-around time.

Email me for a consultation and estimate. In your email please include a description of your project, the timeline for completion, and the type of work you would like done. I may ask for sample pages, and for larger projects, I offer a sample edit of 750–1,000 words.

I also work on contract and for a retainer fee. My fees fluctuate according to project length, budget, and contract. Please email me with details of your project and the length of time my services would be needed.
